GPU Render Failing on startup

Just installed on to a new computer fresh install of windows 11 pro workstation, using an Quadro RTX4000.

I get the message
(14:44:09) Optix error: 7801 (Unsupported ABI version)
Device : y/���
(14:44:09) Could not initialize OptiX. Device not supported
(14:44:09) Failed initializing OptiX driver

At first windows installed the nVidia drivers automatically, so i thought it was that, so i manually installed the drivers and still get that message.

I reinstalled keyshot studio, deleted all settings, so I’m pretty sure it’s something with the graphics drivers, but shouldn’t OptiX be installed with the drivers?

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Figures it out, when searching for drivers for your video card, do no search thru google and click the first link, nvidia has no SEO so it gives you the most popular one even if its from 2021 :expressionless: billion dollar companies go figure.

They want you to install their ‘experience’ and it will remind you of new drivers. I just check https://www.nvidia.com/drivers/ every month :slight_smile:
